TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
When you are booking your online lessons or calling to arrange your driving lessons, you are getting agreed with the terms and conditions of AutoTutor Driving School. We are strongly suggesting learners to read the terms and conditions before booking your driving lessons with us.
Terms and conditions can also be found in the learner’s Booklet. Learners may need to sign the Booklet to confirm their consent that they are fully understanding and accepting the terms and conditions.
BOOKING
- According to UK law, learner must be at least 17 years old in order to book his/her driving lesson.
- Learner must have a valid provisional driving licence in order to book his/her driving lesson. Your instructor may ask you to provide driving licence on your first driving lesson.
- International drivers must need a valid driving licence from their own country or International driving permit which will be valid for a year and then they need to apply for a provisional driving licence in the UK.
PAYMENT
- Learner must be agreed with the lesson price and lesson duration prior to driving lesson.
- Learner must pay full lesson fee prior to driving lesson. If learner fail to do so, Instructor has right to cancel your driving lesson.
- Instructor has right to change the lesson fee for new or existing learners.
PROMOTIONAL OFFERS
- Our promotional offers are giving additional discount in the prices time to time. Usually, promotional offers are one-off deals to help new learners to get on the road.
CANCELLATION
- Learner must give at least 48 hours’ notice in order to cancel or reschedule their driving lesson. If learner fails to do so, he/she will be charged for full driving lesson fee.
- Instructor has right to reschedule learner’s driving lesson at a minimum short notice due to an emergency situation, like breakdown.
- Instructor has right to cancel a driving lesson if instructor feels that learner is under the influence of any kind of intoxicating drink or drug.
REFUND POLICY
- Refund can be issued for the remaining prepaid lessons, if learner doesn’t want to continue taking driving lessons or if instructor is unable to provide his services due to any unpleasant situation, like reallocation, breakdown etc.
- If instructor doesn’t want to continue his services, full payment will be refunded.
- If learner doesn’t want to continue taking lessons, he/she will be charged with standard price per hour rate for lessons had taken place and will be refunded for the remaining balance.
- Refund may take up to 7 working days to go back into account.
IRRESPONSIBILITY OR NEGLIGENCE
- Learner will be responsible to pay the damages to the vehicle due to irresponsibility or negligence during a driving lesson.
- Learner will be responsible to pay the damages or any injuries to third party due to irresponsibility or negligence during a driving lesson.
TEST PRECONDITIONS
- Instructor will suggest learners to take the minimum number of driving lessons recommended by the DVSA to improve the driving skills.
- Instructor will encourage learners to do some additional practice with their family members or friends in order to gain more driving confidence before their driving test.
- Instructor will recommend learners to take some Mock Tests before their driving test. Mock tests will help learners to understand the test environment, test routes and fault identification.
- Instructor is not responsible to book driving test for their learners. Learners need to book their driving test with the mutual consent and need to send booking confirmation to their instructor as soon as possible.
